I dated my brothers best friend for a few years,I caught him cheating on me so i left him.Shortly after I ran into a mutual friend of both of theirs and he was so sweet by listening and understanding,he drove me home that night and held me till i slept,he was nervous about breaking the'guy code'.I really liked him and he really liked me,but the timing was terrible.I saw him again a couple months after that night and he told me i was'killing him'my x was also there and freaking out that we liked eachother.A year went by and i finally called him and told him he was'eating me alive'he said it was mutual and he had no idea but he started seeing someone,but he continued to tell me im the most beautiful girl alive.I let it go and im trying to move on but i still think about him.Maybe one day he will come around??

I think so... and what a great story :) You already have so much history and you are both each others "one that got away"... something will happen for sure. I think something can happen NOW, actually... and you shouldnt feel guilty about the ex. The ex didnt exactly treat you right. There should be no property rights or guy code if someone cheats on someone. That makes it fair game.

Here is what you need to do asap. You need to write him a letter or e-mail that puts every feeling you have for him out there on the table. Things can happen like they do in the movies sometimes. Let him know that your life may never be right without having found out what your love together could be. If this guy really loves you just as much He will be yours someday. In no way am I saying try to steal him away from his girlfriend but Do tell him everything you have ever wanted to tell him, I mean everything get it all out. No matter how small the details you need to lay it all on the table so there is nothing left but for him to make his decision. When and if he does see that he has the same feelings for you he will be yours. I wish all the best for you and I hope you find your love you always wanted.

Unfortunately, if he is willing to be in a relationship with someone else and say these things to you, he would probably do it to you. There is someone for everyone out there....when it is time, the Lord will let you know. trust and have faith.
