If you know someone who doesn't have any clothes or food, you shouldn't just say, "I hope all goes well for you. I hope you will be warm and have plenty to eat." What good is it to say this, unless you do something to help? Faith that doesn't lead us to do good deeds is all alone and dead"

Yes, this is how we should live every day.

Just as our actions must accompany our words to those in need, our actions in Faith should be Trust in God. James is saying that faith alone means nothing if it does not show in our deeds. How do we show faith in our deeds? We trust God in everything and put His will first.
