My boyfriend just dumped me because he doesnt want to end up getting married young. What happens to guys when they dump a girl? Do they get upset? How much do they think about how their ex-girlfriend? How are they differenet than girls?

That's quite a weird reason to dump a girl.. If he loves you, he wouldnt mind waiting longer to marry you or unless you have been pushing him hard to marry you..
Anyway, cant really tell you whether guys are upset when they dump a girl..Must be dependent on the reason.. For yours, not sure what happened before that but solely looking at the reason, your ex bf wont feel sad... He would soon or have already found another girl...

Sorry to hear that ,now a days guys like to try different girls or sleeping around before they settle down, i think if the guy dumps a girl, he doesn't get as upset as if he was dumped by her, at the end of the day it all depends how much he loved you and how genuine his excuse. I think his excuse was only away for him to try something different.

It takes about a week, then we start looking around again... especially if we were in a good relationship and the only reason why we left was because the former girlfriend was getting too serious.
A bad relationship sours us on love, and we take longer breaks if that is the case. If that is the case, we wait not one, but two weeks.

Keep in mind that we are all human. Even though guys and girls have different interests and hormones, we all have feelings. He feels the same as you would after you dumped a boyfriend... Sad it hadn't worked out, but moving on.

As I've stated many times on this before, All people are different. Most boys want to find another "conquest", however most Men will want to find what they are looking for in life.
I can't speak on the difference between Men and Women, I try and understand, but am still learning...

happens to be that in fact this is normal.
men need to grow up and realize that they'll get married and stuff... once we accept the idea we do it... BUT
there is always that "jerk" inside every man that want to get laid with every woman he can... so based on what you said i can conclude this guy is like 20 and you may be his first girlfriend... (or at least his first serious relationship)
give him some time... he definitively is thinking about you.

pending how deep you two were in a relationship we might do the same as you females do. once we say were done were done. might think about you every blue moon or maybe not just depends..
