When I try to watch TV off my front projector I get sound but I dont get picture. Is the problem my cable box?

I can watch a movie off my DVD player just fine. When I turn the TV on I get the "source not found" message. It used to work! Someone help!

....It's a Comcast DVR Box.

It could be a number of things:
1) Bad cable from your cable box to projector
2) Bad connections on the back of your projector
3) Bad cable box
4) Software error on you projector

I would try first switching the inputs that the cable and DVD are plugged into on the projector. If that doesn't work try changing out the cable. If that doesn't work verify that the cable box is good by connecting it to another TV and seeing if you get the same problems. If that doesn't work it is probably an issue with your projector so try a hard reboot (unpower and unplug everything then reconnect it a few minutes later) or call the manufacturer for help.

Also try checking the output settings on your cable box if you can get it working on another tv.

Check if you set your set-top to 480p or 720p which may not be supported by your projector (Try 1080i or 480i)
