I think we had to end the relationship because there is just so much going on in our lives right now and our relationship was just badly timed. But I seriously was in love with this woman and would have done just about anything for her. I'm not talking an intense infatuation like most teenagers have, but truly in love.

I would think it's never easy to give something like that up, but it's approaching a month since that day and the more time goes on, it seems the pain of losing her only gets worse. Is this normal and I still just need more time, or should I seriously consider getting help from a therapist or something?

No you don't need to see a therapist..your fine. You are just human and well you have feelings. No break up is easy, no one said it was. It takes time to heal wounds. You will never really get over her but it does get easier, and hey if it's meant to be, then one day you two will be together again someday. For now go out with your friends, have fun, enjoy life. I promise it does get easier.

You should reconcile the relationship as soon as possible.
If she's worth giving up what you have now the you should go back and try to work things out.
If what you have going on is too good then make peace with the break up and move on without looking back.

I think you need more time... or I think you should get together and remedy whatever problems you have together.

last time that happened to me, I had to move... and start a new life. sometimes time is too much.

But then again, i wouldnt have given up on someone I loved without a fight. just make sure you fought til the end before you regret this forever.
