Drinking coffee is OK if you don`t drink gallons of it, But it won`t soften your bones.
Women need a lot of calcium in the body due to milk & bone production during pregnacy etc and there fore women should take calcium tablets to help their bodies keep the bones strong and get bone density tests done as they get older to detect osteoporosis but this has no thing to do with coffee

Caffeine intereferes with the absorbtion of calcium into your bones, you get less. Use milk in your coffee or just increase your calcium intake and you'll be good to go. It doesn't "eat away at your bones" or take any out, it just reduces the amount you absorb.
