What excuses have you used when cheating on someone?

-excuses you have used to explain your absense or to get time so that you could cheat?

None...I have always been straight up with a guy if I was ready to move on, my relationship with him was over before I moved on so there could be no misunderstanding and I could live with my decision and still hold my head high with respect for myself, because I was honest with them and did not lead them on.

Excuses that I have heard from cheater men in the past have been: Busy working, busy helping Grandma around the house, busy with school, was afraid of falling too hard to fast with you and needed to make sure you were the one (yeah, right! F off and die!), not ready for the level of relationship that you were but not ready to let you go (which was at least close to honest).

It's almost as if you were looking for suggestions on how to get away with what you've already done, or are planning to do.
Any excuses that a cheater would use are lies, and the more lies a cheater tells, the more effort it is going to take to the cheater to remember what was said, and to recruit others to back up the lies. That's risky, because the more people who know, the greater the chance someone will let it slip and the cheater's spouse, or partner finding out, but that could happen anyway. The cheater could unknowingly be spotted by an aquaintance who decides that it should become public knowledge.

I don't have to give excuses for i don't cheat nor do i believe in cheating on my partner.

That is something pretty low, you need to be shot if you even think of cheating on your partner.

I've never cheated and have no inclination to do so.
