I read somewhere that it was not and about died! They said it was an optional package and available standard on the SE and XLE. How is that possible? I thought it came standard on all vehicles now? Any info for this?

Also, what are your thoughts on this car? I bought it used and love it so far!

ABS is not standard on all vehicles, even for 2008.
They will be shortly, as it is an inexpensive options for manufacturers to add.
2003 is the last generation Camry, where ABS was not standard on the LE model.

It is a good car. You will be driving it forever with normal maintenance.

Wow, I never would have guessed ABS was not on any 2003 Toyota, regardless of model. I agree that Toyotas are great cars. I'd have no qualms about buying any used Toyota. I just bought a 2003 4Runner, I also love it, and I expect it to last for many years, and many miles.

I love that car! Great car, you can live without ABS, people have been for the past 100 years. Besides, these cars aren't meant for fast driving, they are inexpensive luxury cars that float you to where you need to go. I drove the 2002, love it, now I have 2007, love it.
