Science studies Gods' creation and it's rules. The tool of science assumes there is an orderly and natural cause that can be repeated. It does not explain things if the cause is supernatural. It cannot explain historical things well since the experiment cannot be repeated. Science has been incorrect before also.
Religion is people's attempt to connect with God. This can obviously fail. There are many religions and they contradict each other. Indeed, at best one can be right. Either Jesus is God or He is not. Either their is just one God or there isn't etc.
The Bible is God's attempt to connect with people. If it's true, it should not fail. People's interpretation could be incorrect, but what God is actually saying should not. Prophesies should come true. History should be accurate.
They can be combined. There are lots of early scientists that were Christians and did so to study God's handiwork. It's my understanding that Galileo believed in God and he's the one that showed that the Earth wasn't at the center of the universe.

Science is research, not a religion. Science never wins anything, it only explains. And if you knew anything whatsoever about science, then you would know that 90% of all research finds nothing for sure. Conclusions, suggestions, etc.
Example: over the past 40 years science has changed it's mind about the effects of coffee, eating oat bran, drinking milk, etc. coffee is bad for you, followed by coffee is good for you, etc.

I don't know what religion you are talking about.
The Dali Lama was taught men lived on the moon.
Mormons believe that God is a man from Kolob.
Hindu taught that the earth was carried on the backs of four large elephants and earthquakes occured when one of those elephants stumbled or lost his footing.
The Bible on the other hand, has always been correct.
Many have tried to disprove the Bible and the Bible always comes out on top.
Such as Isaiah 40:22

Religion cant prove lots of things!
They are both two sides of the same coin!

The old scientists learned more, because they believed in intelligent design.
I would say science supports "intelligent design."
