Noah's ark - how could two of every animal have gotten to it?

If you believe in Noah's ark, you probably also believe that the earth is less than 10000 years old. Science has shown that separate countries existed 10000 years ago. So, how did animals that only exist on certain countries get to the ark? No kangaroo bones have ever been found outside of Australia, so how did they get to the middle east to catch a ride? What about sloths from South America? Surely something moving that slow wouldn't have made it even if it was on the same continent, which is wasn't! What about kiwis from New Zealand?

It's a pretty silly myth, huh? But remember, the author(s) had no way of knowing the size of the Earth or distribution of continents.

The Bible clearly states that God brought the animals TO Noah; he didn't have to go out and gather them.

Also, it's a misconception that Noah only brought 2 of each kind of animal onto the Ark. Actually, the Bible states he brought 7 males and 7 females of certain kinds; and 2 males and 2 females of other kinds. (See Genesis 7:2-3)

p.s. -- not all Christians (or even Jews, for that matter) believe the earth is only 10,000 years old.

The Bible does not say it is 10,000 years old.The Ark was HUGE,it took a hundred years to build it! Now take every BASIC animal (meaning,like man they changed later as the environment did,)Now take two of them as babies,and you have no problem.They were on that Ark way longer than 40 days and nights.By the time the animals got off ,they were almost an age to mate.So,you have the basic big cat,which changes to a cougar,leopard and jaguar.A lion type that evoles to a tige etc.Dogs(more like wolves) that evolve into different breeds...no problem!

Noah is a prophet and the messenger of God. Noh have being preaching for more than 900 years asking people of his time to Worship Al-Mighty God. Only near to a hundred becomes Noah's followers. Most of them refuse including his own son. Prophet Noah, ask God to punish those who doesn't want to Worship Al-Mighty God. God sent Gibril to tell Noah to built an ark. While the Ark in the proses of building, people still do not belief that the great flood is coming. Noah daily persuade the people to be his followers and get into the Ark. Lots of the people putting human waste in the Ark while wating for the flood to come. At that time a skin disease spread with no cured to all that not Noah's followers. While one person putting his human waste in the Ark, he accidently falls into the human waste. Immediately cured his disease. From that very moment nearly all people having the disease go to the Ark and take the human waste, put on the body to cure the disease. All those taking the human waste cured immediately. There's no more human waste in the Ark. Shortly after that, all animals in pairs sent by Al-Mighty God to Noah's Ark. Then rains started none stop day and night. The greatest flood of the world happen at that time. Noah still calling his son and all others to be with him and get into the Ark. None of them want to be in the Ark. Noah warned them and said, even all of you go to the highest mountain, the flood will reach you. They said that the rain will stop. Many put their son and daughter on their heads. When the flood raise higher than their heads and drowning, the daughters, sons are being put to their foot to get higher and later all drowned in the flood.

After the flood, nothing left. All animals back to it's own group and breeds. Noah died at the age of 1000 years. The followers goes on. Family becomes bigger and bigger. More and more peoples on earth.

To answer your other Question on countries. In earlier part, The earth was in a piece. Earth Quake happening one after the other, Island exist from the sea. Land turn to sea and many happening hundred thousands of years. Land saperated and become countries to the present situations.

There's more to God's history than the flood and the birth of Adam and Eve. Jesus said that a day is unto a thousand years as a thousand years is unto a day.

"Noah's Ark" is a fable.

Having said that, God could have "helped" all the far away animals make it to the ark in time, and "helped" them all fit in the ark. Come to think of it, God (divine intervention) can "explain" the entire Bible.

Genesis 7:2:

"Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female."
