I would go for a laugh if it was within walking distance and free. Otherwise, nope.

I agree with AuroraDawn. If the museum is close or if you are willing to travel for a good laugh, then by all means.

I do believe that we must pay close attention to fundamentalists of all ilk, especially our very own fundies. Fundamentalism is the scourge of modern society.

It appears to be a sad fact that humans seem always prone to develop nihilistic habits to make life more difficult and dangerous. It’s not enough that we pollute our water and air; we must develop fantasies which require us to kill those with a different fantasy.

Yes, please do.

My brother and I are atheists, and we went a few weeks ago. We're still laughing. The people alone (there seems to be some sort of "creationist uniform") are worth the price of admission.

Plus, I saw nothing to prove it. Basically, all they said was that if you don't believe in God, you'll be miserable and most likely gay.

It's horrible reasoning housed in a horrible museum. Check out the cavemen if you go. They're all unusually happy to be living next door to a dinosaur.

Be sure you wear a shirt saying you are an atheist or that anti christ.

But yea the creationism museum is a waste of time and space.

No. Don't support their misleading, unscientific attempt to combine science and religion and condemn anyone who doesn't fall into line with their faulty reasoning. The more money people give them through admission fees, the more success they claim for spreading the "truth."

My parents live in the area. Both are biologists, and my father was a part-time pastor for years. They refuse to go and support this nonsense.

Why not! Your spiritual blindness may be healed, as God may choose to open your eyes to the truth. That would be a miracle in itself..... then indeed, you would have the last laugh!

Yes, do go. It should be an amusing outing, just stifle the snorts of derision until you get outside.

I'm trying to get the guy I've been dating to bring me because I think it would be hilarious. He claims it's too expensive, especially the drive down. Jerk.

I think you'll be quite surprised. Everything there is based on factual evidence not wishful thinking. I'd go!

If you are going for a good laugh, it proves you've made up your mind BEFORE you've seen the evidence.
