Yes, having proof that you corrected the problem by getting insurance *may* make that part of the ticket go away. Turning on red where there is a sign that says "No right turn on red" won't go away of course. As to the fine, I have no idea since fines vary by jurisdictions, and I have no clue where you are. If you call the court they can tell you the normal fine for that charge.

Did you buy the car the day you did not have insurance on it? If yes, then it might not be much of a deal for the judge. But if you've been driving for a month or something without insurance then you're screwed! They might suspend your insurance for like 1 year or something, or have you pay some fine.

Yes Proof of insurance will infact help your case..Not having insurance these days will cost you your drivers license up to a year... Good Luck In court and take proof with you the judge will want to see it and will drop the charge

Depends on the Judge. Some like to make an example. He may ask how long you have been driving without insurance. This could be influential to his decision. take the proof of insurance with you.

pretty intersting this case well if you got your reasons probably you'll be ok and some fine but if you used the car for a long time without insuranse you'll be broke
