this is predicted in the bible in 2 timothy, people listen to whatever view suits them and reject the truth. Most people these days even reject the idea that there is truth at all. God isn't dead, I know because we talk a lot.

Pagan/Occult has been around for a LOOOONG time and was more popular a thousand years ago and even more popular 2000 years ago. Your argument is flawed. The religions you refer to as "conventional" were the unconventional way back when they began.

A lot of the growth in Paganism has been due to bands like Amon Amarth and stuff like Wicca became popular through TV shows. Many people also embrace these religions to try and be rebels.

Just the opposite. The devil is working overtime and people are falling into his traps. God gave us free will and sadly more people are taking the easy road. The me generation has grown into the everything is OK/ good generation. Abortion, drugs and pornography are all accepted. America was founded on belief in God, the far left has forced mentioning him out of our lives by using the Church vs State argument. Peace

You must be under 30. There was spiritualism in the turn of the last century, during the 30's, the 70's and the 80's.
Followings, fashion, trends go in cycles. If you're around for another 30 or 40 years or so, you'll see it.
Nothing new, really.

Pagan or Occult are just part of the same deal: it's all religion, just practiced differently and with a slightly different figurehead.

all conventional religions, including the pagan ones, (which were conventional once,) are doomed to fail eventually because the truth is not something that can be set in stone, or put into a list of rules, and human nature evolves
all religions evolve or die off and become 'unconventional'

I don't think conventional and traditionla religions have failed, they have just not reached out to the younger generation; therefore the younger generation is exploring there own religious outlets.

People have been saying for 2000 years that Christianity is dead or dying. The tale of God's death is rather uncooberated!!

Absolutely! The false (monotheistic) religions are dying and the old Polytheistic religious traditions that simply wouldn't go away are being reborn.
Gods is not dead he's just remembered that he has a family
