To have a peace of paper that seas they are married. To have the same benefits like insurance under the working partner. In case of an fatal accident they get half. Incas of a separation the working partner support the other with payments. Half of what one partner has belongs to the other when they get married unless they have a prenuptial agreement.

Because they have a strong connection with the other. Like both together are one. When you love someone so much and can't picture yourself with anyone else in the world, you both make the decision keep it that way.. You take serious vows to always honor the other and so on. It's great, but yeah that pretty much sums it up.
