Religion is a burden on mankind. It is responsible for the deaths and suffering of millions. It is responsible for corruption, hate, anger, etc.

If we were to get rid of it the world would be much better. People would have more understanding of the workings of the world and more importantly each other with less hatred and conflict.

As far as I can see it is a burden. People put a lot of time, money, and effort into it for no discernible gain.
