So long as you have several litterboxes and several bowls of food and water, I would say it will be OK, but certainly not an ideal situation. Cats can get themselves into all sorts of trouble when they're alone and bored, so you may want to consider having a neighbor or friend pop in once or twice while you're gone and make sure your cat hasn't gotten himself injured or trapped somewhere.. or that your cat hasn't been making a mess of your house. ;-)

What I have done is I leave 2 pans that are about 4 inches tall and that are wide at the top and I would put food in one and water in the other plus a cat feeder with food in it. That would last the cat for about 3 to 4 days. When I got home the cat food would not be all eaten but I knew I left her enough to eat and she would be ok. And for the cat litter I would have 2 cat litter boxes to be on the safe side and that was ok also.

No, not really. I would have someone come in to look at them. I would also put food and water in every room just in case you cat locks himself in. It does happen. It is dangerous for a cat to go more than 24 hours without eating.

A cat fountain is also nice as it keeps the water moving and filters it. You might want to pick one up so that your cat has a supply of fresh water instead of stale water that has been sitting for days.

Also, I would add another litter box. You should have 2 already for the one cat, so a 3rd one would be ideal if you are going to be gone that long. Do a full cleaning before you leave.. dumpt he old litter and wash the boxes out, and then refill with fresh litter.

Have you considered boarding? Or hiring a pet sitter? Your vet should be able to provide you with some boarding information and pet sitters in the area. For that long, it is best to have some just come in to check on the cat even if they don't scoop boxes or put any food down.

it's perfectly alright. You can put out enough food and water. Make sure you cnange the litter right before you go, so it's not too dirty while you're gone, cuz if the cats think it's too dirty, they may find somewhere else to go.

The BEST thing, though, if at all possible, is to have someone simply come by and check on the cat each day, and scoop the litterbox. Maybe a neighbor kid you feel is trustworthy? Offer them $5 for such light work. Kids are always looking for extra money.

Make sure you leave out a ton of food, and water. Fill the sinks with water, too. Put anything and everything away that your cat may get into that is harmful. Have plenty of toys for your cat, so s/he doesn't get bored and start playing (destroying) your stuff.

No unless you have got some on looking after it or you put it in a cattery. If your cat doesn't have food for 3 days or water chances are it will be ill.

Yes, provided that you start out with a clean litterbox, a food supply that will last three days, and also a water supply that will last three days. I wouldn't go any longer than that, though.

Yes, so long as you leave enough food, water, and make sure you have a clean litter box or two.

I have only left my cat at home overnight. If its longer I take her to the vets. They board her for a fee. I would worry about her if I left her for longer than one night.

I have, but 3 days is my limit. Just make sure you put down enough food and water, and make sure he or she has a clean litterbox.
