If so, why do you not follow it? Here are a few of my favorite rediculous quotes that are in a book that you base you beliefs on. Good old wholesome values...
"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26)
So, you are supposed to hate everyone. Nice.
"And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." (Matthew 10:37-38)
Wait, no, you must love Matthew...
"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death." (Exodus 21:17) "For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he that cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him." (Leviticus 20:9)
So a bad son shall be put to death? I thought "thou shal not kill"? And your own son at that.

Yes, quite a sarcastic view from you. But if you've learnt about it, your view wouldn't be so. What you need to know is that the bible is made up of lots of bits and pieces, all written by different people, so their interpretations will differ and vary. If anyone's told you anything about the bible it's the fact that it's important not to take it word for word, the creation of the world happening in 7 days? nobody well, at least not anyone I know of takes that literally and we're told not to, because they're actually metaphors. Including the book of revelations, Christians were heavily persecuted by romans those days so their texts contained hidden messages, so no, I highly doubt a plague of locusts will kill us anytime soon. Oh- and 666 is bs too. As for your quotes, if you get the bigger picture, it's basically telling you to put God first, before and above even your family.
Oh- and in the Old Testament (before Jesus' birth) they didn't emphasise loving your enemies and such as much as Jesus did, they still believed in that whole "an eye for an eye" thing, only in the New Testament there's a radical change and Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and never to seek revenge.

Listen, you must understand context hon.
God said to Honor your father and mother. When Jesus said to hate you parents what he meant was to love God OVER your parents, understand?

And it's you shall not murder. And putting to death a person who curses mom or dad is the law of Moses and we are now under the Grace of Jesus.
You have eyes yet do not see son.

100%
The Lord says we should love him more then anything or anybody.

You should honor your Mother and father. Being put to death can easily mean your life will be in shambles till you confess and ask for forgiveness or it could be death. Are you willing to take that chance?

Anyone who believes the bible is 100% true are fooling themselves. A little common sense will show you it is not 100%

It is impossible in principle to do so, since the bible has internal contradictions. See:

Yes, and since we/I believe in Jesus and his teachings then we know for them to be true.
