Don't do anything before you talk to your pediatrician. If it is ok then you need to know from someone qualified the appropriate dosage. Benadryl always made me nervous because I heard of a case where a daycare worker gave a child an overdose of Benadryl and he died. You have to be very careful with medicine and children that young.

No - generally a baby under 3 mos. really can't take any meds. But regardless, do not ever give any baby under 2 years old any medication without talking to your pediatrician to find out if its ok, and what the dose should be.

You should never give an 8 week old anything without talking to the doctor about whether it is safe and what dosage to use. The dosage should be based on their weight not necessarily the age.

You should never give a child that young medication without consulting with a Dr. first. If you can't get to a Dr. talk to a Pediatrician. Don't mess around with medications and infants, it can be dangerous.

You don't ask questions like that on the internet, you call the pediatrician for exact instructions.

Talk to your doctor about that - If your child is having allergies, they may have a better option.
