Monkeys evolved from earlier forms of primate in the past few tens of millions of years.
Turtles as we know them branched off from other reptiles during the Triassic period... a couple of hundred million years ago. They were fairly generically lizardine before that.
And the number of things encompassed by the term "slimy, crawly sea-creatures" (spelling improved) is quite vast... almost certainly encompassing a vast amount of the animal kingdom.... and definitely including things we did in fact evolve from.
But to simplify the process a little more.... fish as we know them came from less boned fish, which came from simple chordates, which came from worm-like creatures, which came from amorphous slimes, which came from monocellular lifeforms, which came from virus-like things, which came from basic, self-replicating proteins.
We've already gone beyond what can be considered "alive" there...... so..... any more questions?

Have you ever thought of reading up on evolution? There's a great book, fairly old, called On The Origin Of Species. I think you might find some answers in there.

I'm gonna be so drunk by the end of the day.
You know what? You are right. I won't answer this. If so many people weren't so hellbent on getting evolution out of the classroom, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO ASK THIS QUESTION! YOU'D KNOW THE ANSWER ALREADY!

And since you're hell bent on trying to prove that everything must have a creator..... Who is it, pray tell, that created your almighty creator?
According to your question I think it is safe to assume that you believe that things cannot simply exist.... they must have a creator..... So why can your holy creator get away with not needing a creator? Why is it that he can "simply exist" while everything in the universe needs him to create it?!

I don't have the will to answer these questions anymore.
Who taught you biology? I'd like to have a word with them.
