same happened to me, called my husband every name you could think of and felt terribly guilty after it..... i never mentioned to him what i said though, didnt want to start up another argument. personally i think all couples do it, sounding off to a sympathetic ear always helps to get over the situation.

It depends how you think she'll take it. If shes the sort of person who doesnt like arguments then you can say that over the break up you said some things which you really regret. But if she's really hot headed then don't say anything just leave it.

Best thing you can do is put it down to the 'heat of the moment' and move on .. you obviously regret it which probably means it wasnt true and now you are back together there is no need to go over old ground .. just work on making the new relationship as good as possible.

This is always the case. I tell my friend when I had an argument with my husband but he goes and tell his family that we have split up. That has happen 5-8 times now. I do feel ashamed when I go back to see them because I don't know what they are thinking about me and what has he told them.

It's all a part of growing up and learning your lessons the hard way.
Talk to her about why you broke up. Tell her only that you were angry when you parted, and that you said some horrible things when it happened, but do not use specifics! And then that you regret that, and want to move on. Tell the person you spoke to, that you were angry at that time, but things are better, and you want them to keep quiet about it.

I always slag my bfriend off to me mum when we fall out but feel guilty after cos its always over nothing! Either dont tell her about it at all, or tell her what you said about her but make her laugh about it. I always tell my boyfriend what I called him!! He just laughs. Depends what sort of person she is I suppose! Good luck x
