Tammy Faye is Dead.It is not your job nor is it our job to judge her! Show some respect! Her children and grandchildren are alive. They can read this! You have no right to Judge! That is the Father's (God's) job.

Tammy Faye may have been a sinner saved by God's Grace. Everlasting punshisment are for those who have not relied on God to forgive their sins.

Tammy Faye may have been verbally manipulative. She had a strong desire to be accepted & "relevant" to her peers.... you know "in touch" so to speak.

She should not have been flip with the sacred. Banter and silliness give no honor to God. Don't reduce holy mysteries to slogans. In trying to be relevant, you're only being cute and inviting sacrilege.

Quick to judge, quick to anger
And slow to understand
Ignorance and prejudice
And fear walk hand in hand
- Rush, 'Witchhunt'

It's easy to judge, and to find 'examples,' isn't it?

I'm NOT a fan of Tammy Faye or her ex-husband by any means. Found it laughable. But how am I to know whether or not they were sincere in what they were doing?

Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord judges the heart... I would say, as that 'one last thing' that it is not a good thing to manipulate God's word for any reason, and especially in regard to MAKING EXCUSES FOR YOUR OWN TRANSGRESSIONS. "God is not mocked. What a man sows, he shall also reap..."

Tammy Faye violated the eleventh commandment: Thou Shalt Not Get Caught. Her punishment was of this world; that's the only one there is.

Tammy Faye was a Christian - she was not perfect - no one is. Sadly she lived her life the way she thought was best - not God's best. She was still saved - even though you choose not to believe it. Just because someone becomes a Christian, does not mean they stop sinning - that is impossible. But God is faithful to us, even though we are not faithful to Him. She is in Heaven - without a doubt. She will have to answer for her sin - but God - because she had the Holy Spirit and believed in Jesus Christ - will give her a place in Heaven. Blessings dear one.

I think Tammy Faye atoned for her sins and suffered here on earth enough not to warrant anymore punishment.
