I have two wonderful jobs that I absolutely love-love-love. I love them so much that i work at both of them, even though financially I don't have to work at all. I could have retired years ago.
1. I work for a cruise line, onboard.
2. I work for a non-profit international Film Festival.
I am a big advocate of EVERYONE finding what they love and doing it. Words cannot describe how happy i am all the time, which seems to make everything in my life fall into place (relationships, finances, etc.). People who are unhappy in their job just bring down everyone around them, and ultimately cost their companies money through reduced efficiency, taking 'sick time, etc.
Find what you love, and go pursue it!

It took me a good while, but I finally found a gig I like back in November.
I'm a computer operator. Basically what I do is monitor computer systems in a warehouse. Whenever a piece of hardware stops functioning properly, or when there are minor software issues, I correct them. I also check in/out RF equipment used by the warehouse workers. I love my job mainly because there isn't a whole lot of stress, the pay is good, and I have down times during my shift. A lot of my time is spent waiting for problems to be presented. In the meantime I'm sometime able to surf the web, and my boss doesn't mind.
The job descriptions for computer operators vary widely, depending on the company, but all in all, it's a good field to get into.
Minimum education requirements are generally an associate's degree in information systems or computer science, but I've seen people work their way up from unrelated poistions within a company.

Wow.... I like this question. Where do I start....
I am a Contract Negotiator/Manager for the federal government in support of the Iraqi Reconstruction effort.
I love my job so much I get here at like 4:45am and do not leave until 6 or 7pm every single day.
It might sound like a lot but it makes the time fly buy.
The $243K annual salary always makes me smile when I see my bi-weekly check.
I'm in Iraq at the moment and it can be stressful at times but I am gaining the experience and knowledge over here to head back to the states and be more marketable than 95% of my peers....

I was a finger printer for a few weeks. I worked at a refugee camp on the Thai-Burma boarder... gave me a good sense of pride. I had to make FBI profiles for Karen refugees... you know, just in case they are more than a refugee.
The pay was good too. Especially since all I have is a high school diploma and a year of college under my belt.

Yeah I have the best job in the world. I don't have to wake up to an alarm, I can get out of bed around noon, I don't answer to anyone but myself, I take as long of breaks as I want. I even get to spend the boss's money. Can you guess what I do....
