Pray to God for Strength, Protection & Healing for your soul. Trust in the Lord. He will give you the solid foundation you need. Many cities have good christian counselors. The fee is based on a sliding scale.

You came to this site for a reason so PLEASE do not listen to the rude non answers of the Atheists. They are being very insensitive to your situation!Speak to your higher Power who ever that may be. Draw strength there. You can try natures medications. Valerian Root can help with anxiety, so that you won't feel like exploding! It can also help with sleep problems, Melatonin 3 can also help you to sleep better. Getting a good night sleep is essential.St Johns Wart can help you with Depression. These are all very affordable. Therapy is also an option. If this sadness continues. There is no shame in receiving therapy.Or spend time with friends. Go for a ride out in the country, read self help books. I hope that someone here can help you.Good luck!

Don't lose hope. Its part of the human condition. I have been there so many times! I would respectfully suggest two ideas to help you. There is a wonderful book called "Going to pieces without falling apart" by Mark Epstein. I found it very helpful during a serious crisis in my life. Secondly, try to do a personal retreat. I don't mean go to some retreat center or ashram. Just get away by yourself. Spend quiet time. Try looking at what is going on inside of you as an outside observer. If your angst continues you might want to discuss it with your doctor. Clinical depression is nothing to be ashamed of. There is a lot that can be done for you. (I know this from experience too!)

Sounds complicated.

I sympathise..... but the solution is quite simple in practice, merely complex in understanding.

The key is to identify closely with your negative emotions and learn to appreciate them. Remember that when your situation harms you... it if your environment around you that is causing you pains; NOT the emotions that it in turn triggers.

If your frustration makes you cry... then focus on the tears... watch them fall... think about raindrops falling on the desert.... or a waterfall splashing down the rock-faces into a crystal-clear pool at the bottom.
If instead it makes you angry, think instead of volcanoes... plumes of golden-hued magma and whisping black smoke.
Take away the negative connotations of your own emotions and let them instead lead you as expressions of the beauty of the outside world...... and eventually you should be able to cheer up.

And remember: Life is just a game. Don't take it too seriously. Whether you win or lose, the end is the same. Appreciate the experience for its own sake and not for biased opinions of what it may hold.

First, take five minutes to breath deeply and relax. Then, make a call to see a mental health professional. Before your appointment, make notes about the past and present issues that have caused you to feel this way. At your session, be honest with yourself and your counselor / psychologist / psychiatrist about what you feel.

There are lots of medications out there that can make a huge difference in your quality of life.

Also, google "symptoms of depression" and learn all you can about it and other mood disorders that afflict us.

Get plenty of sunshine and exercise, and find an engrossing hobby, something that will take your mind off your problems.

Believe that tomorrow will be better than today, and work toward that.

First find out where you want to go or be in life, then find someone to pay you for it. Emotions come and go, let yours go by giving them to GOD. If there is things you can do to assist in making you happym then do them. Just make sure you won't regret them later. If your exhausted by your emotions take a break from them, they'll be there when you get back, you need a break or a vacation. Compromise is for the weak, either your want to go to Heaven or Hell, who wants what in betweenm hum? Letting go requries forgiveness, this is difficult if your heart is broken but it is possible. Closing your eyes won't allow you to keep an single to the Glory of God and furthermore if your temporal eyes are tired put on your spiritual eyes. See beyond the now focus on the goal, seeing the end from the beginning shortens the trip by visualizing your destination. Destiny is untrue, your life is not laid out for you, Life is what you make of it not whats handed to you. Your future is known only to you. Instead of exploding try laughing aloud at something your remember that was really funny especially if it was you that did the funny. Remember, your not alone in these things you feel, we all feel them it's just nice to have someone to hear them and encourage you, go ahead sister you can do it, I know you can. Your worth the effort you put into it. Be well and of good cheer.

I know I feel "one day away from where I want to be"(from a rock/pop song I like) at times also. Is there a way you can take a vacation? Sometimes getting away from stress for a little while, helps me relax. I hope you get feeling better! I wish you the best!!!!!

Pour your self a soft drink or herbial tea, get paper and pen,
sit in a comfy chair, take inventory, what you like about your self, want you don't, The same about your life. Take a deep breath, blow out and listen to your breath, feel your lungs work, Then write your self a letter as if you were writing to your best friend, tell her how you feel what you would like to change. what goals you'd like to acheive. Just free flow whatever comes to mind, don't bother with misspelled words
..../,,,,, Just let it flow don't pause to deep think.
You must use pen/pencil, paper, No computer, A quiet place,
no noise listen to the silence, listen to you.
Blessings

Oh honey, we ALL go through times like that. It's part of the learning process of life. Control truly is an illusion.. let go, and just look for the positives in your life.. start literally counting your blessings.. before you know it, life will begin to look good again and just remember to BREATHE!!
This too, shall pass. I promise :)

Big hugs and lots of blessings!!

I know how you feel, I felt like that this past week but then I took a step back and realized that I am blessed and highly favored. God allowed me to wake up with a roof over my head and food on the table. I think you should pray and thank God for everything that he has done and for giving you a joyful heart and a peaceful mind (even though you might not feel like you have joy or peace). Then take time out to get to know the Lord through his word. Your emotions need to be fed life and the Bible says that man can't survive on bread and water only but rather on the word of God, so take time out and read the Bible. I would recommend with starting with the new testament.

That is the first step to being un-lost. God made us with a hole in are hearts that only he could fill. We as humans are always searching for something to fill it. Some fill it with work. Some family, children, our spouses. Some fill it with trying to be perfect in the eyes of everyone else. The perfect home, perfect family, perfect image, perfect job, perfect body or face. When we get to the place where nothing seems to work we are ready for what we were made for. Then we can ask God to fill that whole with his perfect Love. He doesn't judge us by what the world does. His love is way more than anything the world has to offer. Evita
