I have uninstalled and reinistalled the Yahoo toolbar at least five times. Along with this installation is supposed to be the download of the Norton Spyware too. This program is not downloading at the time of installation. I have tried repeatedly and yet it is not there. Typically there should be an icon in the top left hand corner of the toolbar. Where can I find it? Is it hidden? What is stopping it from downloading at the time of installation? I have disabled popup blocker and over ridden my firewalls. Still it is not there. Anyone have the same problem or know what to do?

Never bother that crap that comes with Yahoo toolbar. It's time you get a PROPER anti-spyware, with real time shield, daily updating, deep scanning and all. Here is a list of some good and free anti-spywares, choose anyone:

Of course you are serious.
Go to Start lower left and click it then click ALL PROGRAMS.
Then you scroll through until you find Norton Spyware, and then you can right click and add a Shortcut to your Desktop and the Icon will be there.
One exception if by chance this software was a trial version I am afraid that Norton has disabled it because your time has run out and you will have to purchase it to get it back.

installing the toolbar only installs the toolbar. The antispy program is seperate from the toolbar but is integrated into it.....the button you refer tois simply a shortcut to the program.....after installing the toolbar, click on your sign-in icon and select to add/edit buttons it will be listed either in the popular tab or already show up in the list of your buttons. Otherwise go to the button gallery and select it from there.....then reload the toolbar and the button will showup......then click on it and it'll redirect to installing the program.

Try looking at the bottom of the screen, (the taskbar). Also , try clicking the "view" button above the toolbar to see if the "Norton icon" is hidden.
