Wish I could come up with a good answer.
All I can say is most of the people that post negative remarks or that are downing NASCAR seem to be immature teens.
The language they use,the inconsistancy of the sport,and the subjects they talk about,all point to a bored teen that wants to act like a big shot and they figure if they come to this site and do this we the real fans will get made and curse them out.So it is a thrill for them to come here.

I'm a HUGE fan of both. HUGE. The insults and ignorance run rampant from both camps. F1 fans tend to be elitist and think our stock cars are taxi cabs and the drivers have no talent. And Nascar fans like to think Nascar is the most important racing series and the World. Sonata: I know. Just making generalizations. :)

I'm not sure why it is so entertaining to make idiotic remarks and rile people up, but apparently they think it's great fun. I think a big reason they keep coming is they get answers posted on their questions. True, most aren't too nice, but I prefer to ignore them. I report the ones I think ask offensive questions and I definately report the ones with pornographic avatars. Just like any small minded idiot, if you ignore them they will go away. Responding to them is only going to make it worse.

I agree with you 100 percent. If they don't like Nascar, they should not be on here. They are just trying to irritate us. I have been trying to ignore them.

Because theyre lame low-life losers who have nothing better to do with their time. Theyre self centered jerks who think it p*sses us off to see their questions and answers. They also seem to think we go to their soccer section and do the same, but I know the real fans here dont. I say we ignore them, or give them smart *** answers but whatever we do, dont get mad. They'll get bored eventually, maybe go outside and so something beneficial for this Earth.

They planned the "assault" last nite in the soccer forum. All those guys with Flaming Letters as avatars came as a group with the intent to harass.
We give them just too much attention, and they thrive on it. They take our kindness for weakness and abuse us! Ignore and block is the only answer.,but we ALL have to do it consistently. For me, the temptation to blast them is really hard to ignore.
