``You have taken that scripture out of context``.....they seem to love to say this when they can`t find a way to justify their blood offering cult god!

I liked your answer so much I`m sticking it up here now!
The bible, inconveniently enough, has completely failed to do that. Christians like making up their own contexts for it and then declaring them truth.... Quite often they're totally different contexts.... but that doesn't seem to bother them too much. It only bothers them if YOU don't seem to adhere to THEIR context.

Context often needs to be clarified in advance.

.... They're just nutters.

This means you haven't read the Bible , so you don't understand what is being spoken about . Do you think you could take any other book and read a sentence here and there , and understand what the writer was speaking about . you wouldn't know what you were talking about . It's the same with the Bible . The questions often reveal the fact that the book hasn't been read .

Yes it is all context. Even worse then context of text is relational context; between reader and Author. The context between light and darkness.

Everything that you discern to be a discrepancy in the Bible can be explained if you read the entire book. People like to read one verse and make a judgement on what it says without reading the surrounding or connecting passages which brings the entire meaning INTO CONTEXT.
So yes.....we do say that quite a bit because there are people who are to lazy to read the entire book.

Which are you, I've already made my decision about you. Perhaps I took it out of context though.

You have a nice day.

In case you havent noticed...let me break it down for you...

No matter what you say or do, Christians will always say you took something out of context when you point out to them how their precious cult leader/savior constantly contridicts himself with the holy book....like they are the only ones that can show you the true meaning of what the book means, as if Christians have some secret decoder ring that we need to decode the stupidity of the bible to make sense of it....like we cant already see that its a cult without christian blinders on...

My suggestion is just avoid Christians like the plague...i mean seriously...they teach their followers not to associate with "sinners". Like we're frickin lepers or something...they can try to convert us, but they cant befriend us without preaching us to death or shoving the "holy word" down our throats first....

We weren't forced to learn it. We just happened to learn it from repeating it so much to people that actually take things in the Bible out of context.

I recommend you study hermeneutics. I wish all Christians would, because if they did, they would reach the same understandings. Errors in context can be common, but isn't the only error one can make.

Well...

If you don't want to hear that anymore then stop taking Scripture out of context

Religious books are all out of context and out of date. We all know better now and should not treat those caveman books as if they have any validity in this modern age.

Hello! Gavin.
A Christian is a follower of Christ.
None of us are perfect just forgiven.
If you look at believers instead of God you will always be disillusioned!
The word has to be rightly divided and if it isn't there is confusion!.
Look up instead of around.
Take care!
