My daughter is Bi-polar and is a rapid cycler as well. Just recently I had to take her children in because she refuses to acknowledge her condition and is making poor choices. I am the only person left in the family who understands the 'nature of the beast' and still stands up for her. The rest of the family has hit a frustration level with her because she is mean and mouthy when she is not on the meds. She can't control her temper and her mood swings make it hard to know what to say when she is cycling through. We all know that if she doesn't get the help she needs and doesn't acknowledge her affliction that this will continue and she is on a bad downward spiral. They just took away the baby she had and I get upward of four and five calls a day. Everyone else tells me not to take the calls and to tell her not to call until she gets help. As a person who has Bi-polar can you tell me what was the single-most thing that made you realize that you needed the help and support your family was offering.

Bipolar disorder is a psychological problem that deals with the high and lows one has everyday. These people that suffer from it, Bipolar, cannot control their urges and their tempers per se.
They will go from a high to a low extreme and can be dangerous at times. It's much more complicated then this and would take many tests and time to determine how far one has gone. It's controllable through medication.

Eh... That is a problematic one. I used to be truthfully misdiagnosed Bipolar, however then rediagnosed as BPD. Borderline Personality Disorder is a character disease, that develops inside your formative years, relying to your emotional growth- it entails immoderate temper swings, and lots of character position disorders that's widely impacted, and prompted through the folks you engage with. BPD may be a arguable situation- many feel that Borderline isn't truly. Because this can be a moderate, or now not totally built disease of MPD- or Multiple Personality Disorder, due to the fact you wouldn't have regulate egos.. Many medical professionals feel those stipulations don't exist. Biploar Disorder is a chemical imbalance, that many feel develops at delivery- it entails 3 levels- adding a degree level, depressive level, and manic level.. BPD, and Bipolar each have the stigma of getting temper swings- however Bipolar mania is available in levels, as BPD mania is unpredictable, and is discovered through the law, or disorder of your emotional state. However, neither ailments are curable- handiest treatable through cure, and remedy. I could believe BPD signs, in conjunction with Bipolar Disorder- corresponding to Black, and white pondering. Splitting/ disassociation comes at levels- and lots of immoderate, and impulsive urges, and behaviors are prompted through the way you react emotionally with others. But it is vitally problematic, and complex to pinpoint 2 intellectual issues that coexist with every different, after they each incorporate equivalent signs. They virtually compromise every different.. from the opinion of my psychologist, Biploar/ BPD can't as a rule coexist in combination- and being that Bipolar Disorder is essentially the most mainly misdiagnosed intellectual disease within the psychiatric subject, it might be incorrectly identified.. Many of the ones with BPD, have a moment intellectual health problem that coexists with being Borderline. Anxiety, and Depression are essentially the most typical. But Bipolar Disorder is solely as volatile, and unpredictable as BPD. It might even be Depression/ BPD- even be definite to notice that Bipolar Disorder entails plenty of signs that mimic, or are very similar to many different intellectual issues, or visa versa. I could get the opinion of a 3rd medical professional. It can take years to thoroughly diagnose a individual. I am now not announcing it's truly, it might simply be a false impression, or difficult to monitor down, and comprehend. Good good fortune..
