Well, this is the weirdest question I've ever asked here... but... Here we go...
I'm a part-time bartender, last night I waited on this guy that has just moved here from Jacksonville, FL, I'm guessing he has no job yet, he was trying to get people to buy him cocktails all night last night... he did find someone though... So, tonight, I was off from work, bumped into him at a bar... after about 15 mins he wants me to go to his place for a "bar-b-q" I says no...
He CALLS ME: BORING... then LEAVES... Did I do the right thing by saying " NO "... Felt like he was a hustler or something like that...

Well yea you did nothing wrong. A broke stranger asks you if you want to come to a bbq. I can think of like, 2 people who would say yes, and they're both a little, strange.

So yes, you did the right thing.
