My girlfriend has Fibromyalgia and we are trying to find a Doctor who will treat her. We will go anywhere in So.Cal. Please Help !!! her doctor she has now does not believe a word she says and is taking her off all her medication. She is becoming more stressed everyday and won't get out of bed.

If her doctor knows she has Fibromyalgia why is he taking her off her meds?
Who diagnosed her with Fibromyalgia? this doctor.
Fibromyalgia isn't as rare as one would be made to believe, in fact many people suffer from it to a certain degree.
It's arthritis of the tissues and the muscle. In some people it can be very painful, some, a mild nerve pill can take the pain away.
Any good doctor should be able to help her, I know of no specialist in Fibromyalgia, but a Rheumatism, or an Internist maybe, in internal medicine. I myself have Osteo-arthritis in the severe degenerative stages and Fibromyalgia.
Why is she so stressed she won't get out of bed? I think she needs a new doctor and a new diagnoses. Maybe a large metropolitan health center.
