Friend.

When SMOKING IS BANNED AS IT IS DECLARED INJURIOUS TO HEALTH, it should be implemented strictly by all.

First in all the Government controlled offices, establishments nd other places it shall be implemented 100 percent. Then in other sectors,in public places etc it shall be enforced,

There is no special provision for VIPs n this type of things.

So who so ever he may be. when Government says No-Smoking , it is no -smoking.That's all.here shall not be ant argument.

If on some flimsy reason one is allowed, it opens Pandora's box and you can not control it any more.

Media's obsession with Sanjay Dutt is understandable. But what difference does it make to the commoner if Sanjay Dutt smokes or not? By the way prisons are not public places. It is a sort of home for culprits undergoing their punishment. By letting them smoke their punishment is indirectly enhanced !!!!

Agree on this point. Sanjay Dutt should be treated like any other criminal.

Most worrying thing for me is also why all his movements are published in all communication medias. In this way, he is trying to keep himself in limelight and getting public sympathy.

Let him enjoy the service of jail for couple of years. May be he grow up a bit in that process.

It's not a question of smoking or drinking but of an individual's right. If law permits,he has the right to do so and extremists be damned. Why no ban on other equally harmful things like, lying, cheating, abusing, bullying etc.Let us not forget one thing that by surrendering our rights on small matters to a government we are paving the way for gradually loosing our other valuable rights like free expression including criticism of authority and more.
