world class windsurfing is available in the village of Bitez just 10 minutes from Bodrum.
Plus, a very special atmosphere exists in the many beach bars and restaurants here.

I highly recommend you check it out.

Eventhough I am not a windsurfer, please check www.windguru.cz and go into the Asia, Turkey section as this site gives you many spots and is meant for windsurfers! I use it for sailing a lot and surfing!
Just beware of the Sea of Marmara as sudden gusts occur there often, check the weatherforecast and people who are good at it!

Thanks Leprechaun!

There's a windsurfing school right on our beloved Asian side of Istanbul, on the Sea of Marmara in Erenkoy/Caddebostan. Check out the Marmara Yelken Kulubu at http://www.marmarayelken.org.tr/master_page.asp. I have friends who have gone there and have only had good things to say about it.
