A kink in the tail is a fault (deformity) even in purebred siamese, so don't ever let that be your guideline to jugde whether a cat is siamese. A siamese will get disqualified at cat shows if it's got a kink in it's tail.
Decades ago it was a trait of this breed, but good breeding choices have erradicated it from most "bloodlines".
The same goes for being cross-eyed.
Also, there are two types of siamese, the modern "skinny" siamese, and the traditional siamese, nowadays referred to as Thai, which are pretty average in build.
The only way to know for sure if your cat is a Siamese/Thai, is if it's got a pedigree stating that.
If not, you have a pretty special domestic shorthair.
Cuddle for your kitty!

Unless you have papers for her that state she is a certain breed, then it is impossible to tell what she really is. If you want to compare her to a purebred go to www.cfainc.org and pull up the pictures of the breed. You be the judge.
