An asprin tablet a day or a glass of wine a day (alcohol is a drug) have both been shown to work. Any more and then you are looking at cancer, kidney problems or liver problems in the future.

I would stay away from anything new or unheard of before because the long term tests aren't there. If long term problems might not be a problem (you will likely die before they come into effect) then maybe something newer yet tested might be better.

Atorvastatin Calcium is used to prevent blood clots from cholesterol, which can cause heart disease and stroke, by reducing the amount of cholesterol.

Wine and asprin are both blood thinners while wine also relaxes the heart.
