... that the kkk uses illegal immigration to harvest those who are set on ridding america of illegal immigration only to attempt to turn them on other groups such as african-americans, homosexuals, jewish people, and other groups on their 'hate list?'

i saw a study that showed that the kkk uses hot-topic issues such as illegal immigration to collect members and turn them on other groups. its insanity, right?

america was founded on love, culture, honor, respect, rights, and other noble foundations. and yet the kkk is against it all. they use hate, anti-culture, dishonor, disrespect, and try to pry the rights from the people they are against.

if one must be against illegal immigration, then so be it. but why must the klan become involved when its interests are much more vague than illegal immigration?

"brenda r," i acknowledge the other racist groups as being wrong as well, yet i target the kkk today because i have seen a lot of their presence on this site today influencing people to join and support them. i attempt to deter this.

Hate-based groups use any excuse to recruit.

That's the same here as anywhere else in the world.

They'll use any hot topic subject to collect members to achieve their goals. Just as the Aztlan group uses the excuse that the Southwest was stolen from them to collect members that will further their movement for their own goals.

KKK have been around since before the first wave of legal immigrants came to America. When Hitler was still alive, he had people in his Reich come across on the boats as immigrants to recruit, and gather support from the German immigrants here in the USA. Even when they (Germans) were in the same encampments set up by the government, the Germans were divided from each other by their own choice. Some were for Hitlers movement, and the others stayed on their own side and away from the extreme bunch. Remember Hitler had a goal... to rule the world.

Since those days there are many names they go by. KKK is just one of them. Skin-Heads, White Power, White Supremacy are others. You know them by their hate, and they are always opened about how they express it. You can thank the Supreme Courts for allowing them to use Free Speech to inflame their hate. It is now their right, and is protected by the laws. Their violent acts however, are not. They still want to kill all Jews, Catholics, Gays, and Lesbians, interracial couples relationships, and American Africans. Anyone who is against them basically, and not white. The illegal issue has just given them a new target. Sound familiar?... The same thing the Aztlanders say. La Raza - for the race.

This is the La Raza they don't want anyone to know about.

Like an unwelcome memory of youthful stupidity, the residential-schools scandal keeps coming back to haunt us. But what do we really know about how the residential schools came to be? For most of us, only that First Nations kids were stuffed into them for generations and once inside were sexually, physically and culturally abused.

I keep hearing, learn from history so as to not have it repeat itself. My question is... When will everybody begin to listen, learn, and prevent?...

Yes, I agree. this is like the draft for these hate groups and I would like to think that americans are as smart as someone stated, that they would not fall into a hate hole, but sadly, so many are not. People are stating that the kkk is a thing of the past. Wow! to say that they are not around, is pretty naive. Even if you have not met a klan member, the mentality is still out there, in the most obscure of places. In LA we say look behind "the orange curtain".
Sergio, do you really believe that america was founded on love, culture, honor, respect ect.. I'm not sure I can agree with you on that one. I think you know why.

Samuel: To say that La raza is a hate group is a huge fallacy my friend.

Lex: If your only solution is the kkk, i suggest you expand yourself just a little bit more. I'm sure you can do it. "all you need is love" Lex. LOVE. go on. say it three times LOOVve. Loovvve. Looovve. feel better?

Nettel: to quote you, "...illegals leaching off the USA".
I'd call working in the US supporting, not leeching.

thanks for posting sergio. you and eon are the most intelligent (YA) on this issue.

warpath: everyday a chicano is born after reading history books, reading into the lies they fed our grandparents and it's a bit of a shocker. more and more people are waking up from the commercial dream, unwraping themselves from their plastic containers they call security, to see things as they really are. It's not always pretty. In order to move past our history, we have to accept it for it's beauty, yes ,but more importantly it's ugliness, and if this means exposing it, then so be it. we better just suck it up, let it go, and start working to make our future more harmonious.

I agree KKK do use illegal immigration to recruit new members. But the KKK only represent a small percent of those who are against illegal immigrants. Most people have legitimate reasons to be concern.

Absolutely they do. That is how they recruit. There are a Majority of Americans who dislike the idea of Illegals leaching off the USA. Luckily the Majority or people manage the issues politically, and not by hatred. Having said that, the KKK might pick up less than .01% of these people to join. They get involved to get their recruiting numbers up. the Klan is a non-factor. I wish they'd take their hatred to Islam Extremist, but they're a bunch of panzies.

Most educated people would not join a group like the clan. They will use whatever means they need to get people to join their racists crap. But the people who would even consider joining the clan are racist because they know how the organization works and are willing to become part of such a worthless organization. The clan now basically consist of poor trashy people who blame their problems on minorities so they can feel like a minority.

No, I don't think that. And if the KKK did gain a member, I think the member is smart enough to think for himself and probably willingly turns his focus on other groups. Plus, I think people know this already. I know hundreds of people who would join the KKK if they went after illegals only because more and more people are becoming fed up with them. It was getting out of hand, it is out of hand, and it will be a miserable future if no one does anything.

if any racist group uses illegal immigration it is La Raza (the race) and la voz de aztlan. The KKK is insignificant today.

By the way, if you REALLY want to find REAL RACISTS then go to mexico. You can discover how mexicans rape and beat guatemalans trying to immigrate to mexicos southern states (ironic isnt it?).
