I'm moving into a new apartment but they do not allow painting the walls. They are plain white and I hate them. Does anyone know how to put color to a whole wall/room without paint? I know paintings are good but its not enough for one wall. Thanks in advance.

Put up a curtain rod. Get a shower curtain you like. Ex., our living room curtains are shower curtains of the ocean with bright, colorful fish. Pick what you like : beach, flowers, planets, trees,etc. Hang the panels from your curtain rod. Voila! You have a pretty wall without painting! (Cloth shower curtains. Plastic would be tacky). Have fun!

Do not put up wallpaper, they can leave the wall looking like a giant cat got on it and scratched the crap out of it. but anyway, I would use drapes, colored lightbulbs, or I would even paint the walls and before moving out I would paint them white again. Good luck

Wall paper is worse than paint as far as removal goes.
How about hanging drapes or tapestry.

You can use 4'x8'x1/4'' wood panels covered with cotton batting/quilt batting/fiberfill:

Then cover with fabric of your choice using staple gun w/1/8" staples. Will also provide some sound proofing . Anchor in corners using nails covered with decorative wooden shapes.

Wallpaper/covering is easy to take off and you could get it in solid colors =D
