is this bad for your eyes in comparison to visine (vasoconstrictor)?

the bottle says not to utilize after contacts are in, why?

Anything with tetrahydrozoline has that warning (Clear Eyes, Visine) because the lenses hold the drops to your eye for too long, supposedly, and deprive them of oxygen. I have worn contacts for years and used Visine and other than some dryness, have had no problems.

Very similar to Visine, the tetrahydrozoline HCL is a vaso contrictor.

If your eyes are red, see your fitter to find out why and treat the cause not the symptom. If your eyes are dry, there are much better lubricants. Ask your fitter to recommend a contact lens rewetting drop.

You don't want to get anything to remove redness, it's only temporary and makes the redness worse over time. If you eyes are really red and dry get something to moisturize.
