Are you worried about this behavior?

I've had cats that will fetch. We kept throwing the toy mouse to see how long the cat would chase it. We got tired after throwing it 30 times. She was ready for more! Later, when she had kittens, one of her kittens would fetch, so apparently it is a genetic thing. None of my other cats would fetch. I had one that would jump up and catch a ball and I had another one that would jump up and shut off the light. I also had one that liked to sit on the top of doors and stare down on me like she was a vulture. That one freaked me out.

My cat plays fetch with the rings off milk jugs and twisty ties. And I had a cat years ago that did the same. I work from my home so if I ignore him he'll pick it up and drop it right on my foot so I'll toss it for him :)

Cats are far more intelligent than people give them credit for being. A dog can be taught to play fetch - cats will teach themselves!

My ragdoll cat fetches. It's his favourite game at the moment. My friend also has a british shorthair that fetches.
It's funny to watch, and a real surprise the first time they do it because it's so unexpected!!
