Why is it bad to have an even number of tattoos?

I think it is not about not having an even number of tattoos, but specifically not having four. So those with four tattoos are encouraged to get another, making it five.

This likely stems from the number 4 being resented by the Chinese as the pronunciation of 4 sounds like 'death', and death is regarded as bad luck. This is why you can't order four cookies at a Chinese bakery, either!

honestly, in simple terms specific people have the "outstanding" to have a band achieved. it is an old penitentiary element. in case you spot somebody with an open band, or barbed twine, they have been given the tattoo for relaxing. in case you spot that the band or twine is closed, it potential that they've been to penitentiary, not reformatory yet genuine penitentiary. The style of barbs point out the kind of years they have spent in penitentiary. I watched a guy bypass to a epidermis head tattoo parlor. He replaced into there to get a megastar of David tattoo. there have been swastikas in all places, the tattoo artist had a sizable one on his head (he replaced into additionally donning laces and braces). the guy who owned the parlor had no problems with doing any tattoos for money. the only regulations he had have been no speaking approximately faith or politics. the guy all started outstanding in together with his political ideals and why he replaced into outstanding and actual everyone else replaced into incorrect. He replaced into warned two times. the guy saved working his mouth, the artist began to run the needles deeper. i think of he ultimately hit bone.
