It's basically an open secret. There are a few particularly bad ones that sneak through the application process, and most of them get away with stepping slightly over the line from time to time. Cops who tell on other cops risk ostracism and retaliation, so to some extent they'll look the other way, but then you'll find that problem in pretty much most professions. With some departments corruption is worse than others and some cities have better systems of accountability in place than others, but you'll generally find the same thing with private companies.

you seem to just want to write all this no meaning jibberish.it does not even make sense.there are bad cops just like there are bad people i every profession.the number of bad cops is a very very smal number. they always get caught,prosecuted and fired.i am a retired deputy sheriff in texas.i do not know is is giving you info but they do not know what they are talking about. cops do not sit around talking about what they did.most cops are very quiet and say very little.they are very professional in the way they do their jobs.cops are human like everyone else. they make mistakes just like everyone else.i worked 25 years in a very large department/ i only saw 2 bad cops and both were caught and fired. look at the cops in prison compared to normal citizens.the numbers are extremely small

cops have private lives too they are citizens just like you well maybe not you, but good citizens. first of all you have to know the english language and how to spell it correctly before becoming a cop you probably could not have bin one dumb a s s
