Let me get this straight. According to Christians, the original sin was never about the consequence of eating the fruit of knowledge but rather the actual act of eating the fruit. Adam sinned by eating the fruit, not because he was filled with the knowledge of sin FROM the fruit. So this means that the core source of original sin is "freedom of choice". That means God implanted original sin in Adam. If you Christians say that humans are borned sinful then we are borned just as equal to the perfect human "Adam", who was born sinful. Adam was not sinful in the beginning but he became sinful. Same for humans, we are not sinning to start off with but we eventually sin. Angels are also born sinful, look at Lucifer and his diciples. They sinned, and so did the perfect creation like Adam. Sin and free will are inseperable. Why? Because even Adam, who was the perfect creation, and angels who got free will sinned. So my question is...

Why would God let Jesus sacrifice himself for something God intended from the first place?

By creating freedom of choice God delibrately created sin.

Because no human is bound to sin when born, but they do it as in nature of choice, just like Adam and Lucifer.

Think of it....Adam was the perfect creation of God..with freewill...which eventually lead to sin...
No infant would be born like "WHohahaha I shall kill!!"
but they sin eventually.

Sin is only known by the law. Then the result of the sin is the punishment.
So Adam knew not to eat that fruit (yes, God was testing him); then he disobeyed (that is the sinful act), and the result was the expulsion from the garden and the hardship Life that followed.

The source is not the "freedom of choice"!
Is the law-breaking (sin) of a speeding motorist the car he drives?

Angels are not born sinful either. They too have free-moral-agency. That is, they are created with the means to choose (animals are not, therefore are not part of the greater plan.) The ability to choosing is not the cause, its the choice which is. However the 'good' choice is all-the-more great in those who follow the 'narrow-path' and 'harder-way'.

You seem have a mis-guided agenda in your question.

God gave free will so he didn't create sin they sinned on their own. Where in the bible does it say Adam was the "perfect creation"? Lucifer who was Gods "left hand man" Jesus being his right. Lucifer wanted more power so got some angels and fought. They lost so were sent to Earth. There he tempted Eve to sin who tempted Adam. that's the only reason he ate the fruit. Being born sinful pretty much means you will sin sometime soon. Say I am 23 i steal a bag of spicy Cheeto's. Even if i ask for forgiveness im still sinful when im 56. Just like if you delete a program from your computer there are still records of it being there.

Free will existed waaay before God created man. It existed in heaven back when Satan was Lucifer, but it really had no conflicts because the angels worshipped God not out of duty but out of love and sin did not exist. They loved him and worshipped him freely. It was all perfect until Lucifer became jealous of God the Son and rose a conspiracy against Him and the Father. He and the angels that rebelled against him caused what we now call a 'war in heaven'. Though not literally; just a debate of point of views. As the creator, God could have easily destroyed those who rebelled against him, including Lucifer. But it was the idea of free will that showed His love for His creation. So, no. Sin was not a result of free will. Sin was introduced by Lucifer aka Satan. Free will is our choice: either we decide to go one way or the other: good or bad.
Adam, by the way, was not born sinful. He was created perfect, because although sin had been introduced by Satan, it had not reached humanity (given that they had not been created yet) Of course the sin was not in the consequence of eating the fruit. It's like saying that the crime of robbery is being jail. The sin was in disobeying what God said when he told them not to eat from the fruit, thus giving in to Satan's temptation and, in that way, sinning. Although Adam and Eve were both perfect in the beginning, it is not the same for us. The Bible plainlly states (book of Psalms) that we are born in sin; we are conceived in sin while in the womb. That is because Adam's sin affected humanity as a whole. Angels, by the way, are not said to be born. They, unlike us, were created. Sin and free will are indeed two different things and the only thing that links them is your choice of making the wrong choice- taking the evil side. The theory is more than arguable. It's like saying that because you can choose from two things you will inevitably choose the wrong thing.
Not so much my friend. I suggest you do a little background reading on Lucifer and the whole conflict he brought on, thus creating sin. The Story of Redemption by Ellen G. White is awesome. I encourage you to read it.

The fruit was the " fruit of the knowledge of good and evil" in the old tongue " Knowledge" meant to become one with something, therefore the fruit of that knowledge is that man became one with both good and evil. now evil is part of man
The source of sin is not free will but the abuse of free will.

by the way, you don't come off sounding very intellectual ( which I take it is your plan) when you say people are " borned" The word is BORN. nice try though. its okay though, just remember, the spellcheck function is free, you don't have to be afraid of it.

In a way, you're right. God allowed free will, but one main characteristic of human mentality (frontal lobe) is curiosity. So, maybe God invented this whole drama from the beginning....Jesus' death on the cross, and all. After all, wouldn't YOU get bored just chatting with yourself all day long, eternally? Creation's a LOT more interesting!

Fundamentally flawed: Your lack of understanding of what sin is exactly has got you all confused.

Sin is turning against God's will, which He has indicated in the Ten Commandments, and which, in Adam's case consisted of NOT eating the apple.

Adam, as all humans do, had free will in order to gain merit by being obedient to God's will, or by gaining punishment by rejecting, and turning against God's will.

Free will is our choice. We have a choice to do good, or a choice to do evil. It is up to us. Sin and free will are completely seperate. If I choose to do God's will I have not sinned.

Angels, like humans had a short period of testing, much like we endure every day. They also had the choice to either obey God, or disobey God. Satan chose to disobey God, and for that he was punished. The other angels, who actually used their free will to obey God, such as St. Michael the Archangel were rewarded with the ability to forever see the face of God in Heaven.

Sin is the use of free will in disobedience to God. Sin is NOT present when free will is used to obey God. Sin and free will are completely seperate.

Secondly, God never intended to sacrifice Jesus in the first place, but He knew it would happen because he foresaw the choice Adam would make with the use of his free will.

With free will comes responsibility. Adam used his free will irresponsibly. But in saying that God always supplies enough grace for us to avoid sin and never tests us beyond our abilities. God knows what will happen in the future not because it is all decided, but because God knows all. Try to grasp your brain around that.

It's like being in a blimp above a parade: You can see everything happening and are not limited to a narrow one sided view such as someone stuck in a sidewalk watching the parade pass one person at a time.

Lastly, Jesus didn't have to die, but chose to in an act of love. What Adam lost in the garden by disobedience to God's will, Jesus made up for by obedience to God's will on the Cross. They both used their free will, but did so completely differently, thus attaining different results.

Hope that helps. This of course is a very brief overview... and if you want I could go on for hours.

Freedom of choice is not what caused Adam to sin. We all make many choices daily and certainly not all of them are sinful. Willful disobediance to God is sinful, and this is what Adam and Eve were--willfully disobediant!

Adam committed high treason by throwing in with Satan, who is the enemy of God.

It was Satan who swindled Adam and who ultimately enslaved him and all of his offspring, under the imminent threat of death.

God permitted it, since Adam had been warned, and chose to do it it anyway.

In the fullness of time, God also provided the one who would end Satan's evil dominion, and restore mankind's dignity and freedom.

I have heard this question asked so much more eloquently yet pragmatically by Atheists on this forum. You discredit them by your pathetic attempt at sounding intelligent.

And I would love to give you credit for how much time you spend dwelling on Christianity merely to try to make yourself look smart by attempting to discredit it, I have trouble believing that there is any original thought in your question--other than the poor verbiage and bad grammar.

I agree with virtually your entire statement--Christianity agrees with it, in fact. We just understand that it was an act of love by an all-powerful God, and not your misconceptions of megalomania, egotism, and villainy that motivated him.
