As stated earlier: Colts and geldings carry 126lbs. and fillies 121lbs. Now most jockeys don't weigh that much, including their equipment, so the difference is made up with lead weights that fit under the saddle.

Horses are too old for the Kentucky Derby, since horses are at least 5. Kentucky Derby age limit is three.

Colts and geldings carry 126 lbs, and Fillies carry 121 lbs.

but they all must go that 1 1/4 mile to be the victor, of the most
exciting 2 minutes in sports, on the 1st Saturday in may at old
Churchill downs.....good luck and good racing......

I believe it is 126 pounds for all horses.
