well, im turning 14 in a couple of months and im planning to work at a fastfood joint. I dont really care where i work, i just want some of my own cash....
there arent really many places for a 14 year old to work at so you might not get something too fun.

Theres really not that much out there for 14 year olds, it pretty much is the fastfood joints and such. I waited until i was 16 for my first job at a Hardware Store, compared to my friends jobs at grocery stores and such it was amazing but in all reality even that sucked horribly.

its really hard to get hired when you're 14 since you don't have a lot of experience....most job's look for someone who's at least 15 and some job's won't even take your application unless your 18. Babysitting would be a good option for you if you like taking care of kids or maybe if you have a relative that's a manager somewhere like a restaurant they could find a place for you.

you can go to cambodia, and get paid six cents an hour ;]
haha, i'm totally kidding... and sorry if that sounded harsh, but anyway, usually here in the states the legal age for a minor to work is sixteen, some retail stores lower that exception to fifteen, but it's usually rare.
don't even rush trying to work, trust me, it's a PAIN. sure the money part sounds so nice and great, but just enjoy being a young teen, and enjoy the first couple years of highschool without the extra work. :]
(and you can just ask your parents for money since you're still pretty young)

Since you're 14 your job options are very limited. I have a friend (who is 14) who delivers flowers, he gets a really good pay for his age too its like 5 bucks per delivery and some days he makes like 20 delivery's other days he makes 4. Anyways good luck

dang it must be very different from where i live 16??? oh well, im pretty sure the lowest age you can start working at is 14 ,well i guess it just depends on where you live, you can do any job as long as it doesnt involve heavy lifting, ask one of your school staff for a job application( you have to have this to get a job as a minor) and you would be able to see what your options are there and be able to chose from that

Aren't many "fun" jobs out there. But for a 14 year old, there's babysitting, paper routes, yard work and dog walking to name a few.
