brother.She has done lots of bikini shots and nude videos.Mom was angry with brother for marrying such a women who had shown her most intimate parts for everyone to see.I found her to be a very humorous and intelligent women.My brother says he married her for the same reason .I still can't believe she did all thease once.She once told me that so many actress take of their cloths for playboy so why couldn't she do although not for playboy ? Do you think she is justified and can we trust a women with such a background?Don't you think feminism has gone a bit too far that women no longer feel shy of posing nude ?

I know I have no right to interfere in their lives or judge her morality.But then she now belongs to our family.And it sometimes bothers me that anyone can pick up a magazine for few dollars and get to see her naked.

The thing about life is that we all make mistakes in our lives. The important thing is if we learn from our mistakes. If she no longer does that and did not perform sexual acts in these pictures, then leave it where it belongs in the past. A lot of women get more upset over issues like this not because of moral issues (but some do), but because they don't have the body or courage to do it themselves.

Ask yourself this, "Minus the modeling, do you like your sister in law?"
If you never knew she modeled would you think she was a good moral person?
You shouldn't look at the things people have done in the past. Just b/c she posed naked doesn't mean she's an immoral person. She might have been trying to pay her bills or get through school.
Stop thinking about this. In 50 years, it won't matter.
If she's a good person now, respectful to your family and a good wife to your brother; then what's the problem?

She's telling you all this? Well, it probably isn't true unless you've actually seen her portfolio's.... :o) She may be attempting to make herself feel sexy...
Nevertheless, if it IS true than I think she needs to figure out for herself why she feels the need to make her husbands family so aware of it...
Not sure what to tell you however because it really doesn't matter at this point because she's your brothers wife and as long as they "work" than it's their business.. :o)
A persons past isn't necessarily an indication of their future. I'd have to take the chance and say that most of us have done things in our youth that we certainly wouldn't repeat with the wisdom we have gained over time.. :o)

She sounds gorgeous and if she wanted to show it off when she was younger and saw it as a good source of income then I don't think there is a problem. Not everyone's cup of tea, but to each their own. She is smart and funny (and beautiful!) - sounds like your brother is a lucky guy. And if you like her too then it's obviously not all about her looks.
I don't think trust has anything to do with being a nude model. It's about how she treats your brother, his family, and her own friends and family. Your Mom is from a different generation and probably won't change her mind - but you can give her a fair go and make her feel welcome :)

Honestly, I don't think it's a big deal. I mean, think about how you were when you were younger. I'm sure you did some things you weren't proud of. The things you've done don't make you who you are, it's how you can move on from them and grow as a person.

No she is just confident any everyone at a time was young and when we are young we want to try different things I guess that was just her way of trying new things. Your brother must have liked her before he knew about her past ( other wise your brother is a pig just like mine :D) And we can't always chose who our hearts chose to fall in love with .

Are they happy, decent, law abiding folks? If she is STILL doing that stuff, I personally would be uncomfortable. but if not, so what. We all have 'skeletons'. At least she was honest about it and maybe MOM needs to chill and accept her for that.

Ah, shoot, at least she wasn't in one of those "Girl's Gone Wild" videos. I don't attribute it to feminism. I thinks it our moral decline in general. Almost anything goes--any place, any time.

sorry its really none one's business (even mine) to make disparaging remarks about what someone has done --- for your brother he has fallen in love with a lady and he past has helped make her who she is --- best wishes to them both
