I about fell off my chair when I heard that Robby Gordon is offering the #77 to Marcos Ambrose to run in the race at Watkins Glen.

Wow! Folks, you just don't see this kind of thing in other sports. I give Gordon props for offering it.

Do you think this is cool?

Robby has done this before(it was a race leading to a Baja race).Between the race officials, sponsors and sanctioning body to bury the hatchet he sets up a 2nd car from his team and puts the driver from the car that he had an altercation with in the car as a jester of sportsmanship.
As to the quaility of the car or the real intent behind it that is up to him and his team.

Kudos for Robbie Gordon. He's looking towards the future with Marcos, He needs a second car anyway, why not try Marcos for the race this week.

Gordon showed he has a lot more class than NASCAR. They robbed him on Saturday and never even commented or apologized for their error. I also think that NASCAR dropped the ball by suspending him for Pocono. His violation was in the Busch series and the penalties should be for that series and not Nextel Cup. NASCAR must have something against Robby Gordon. His stake with me has gone up greatly since this error that NASCAR started by making a wrong and stupid call. They think they are God or something.

That was the best news I had heard for a while I don't like to see NASCAR drivers fight every one needs to take lessons from Robby!! They are both awesome drivers though I like them both Marcos is getting better and better so I am glad to see that Robby is giving him a cup ride!!

This actually has to be the classiest move I've seen in the sporting world in a long time. Props to Gordon.

Well, good for Robbie Gordon. It's shame he had to be so out of control last Sunday, but I think this is a good thing.

It's totally cool. I hope it works out... as long as they don't beat Carpentier or Fellows (grin).

Cool if it's for real.

As of Tuesday afternoon, NASCAR officials say they have not received an entry for Ambrose from Gordon's office. (The deadline was actually a week ago, but NASCAR can accept late entries at their discretion.) So is Gordon really offering Ambrose a ride, or is he going to wait until way too late and say "I was willing to give him my car, but NASCAR wouldn't let me . . ."?

Robby is cool, I wish he could win more races. He was robbed at Montreal.
Protesting NASCAR craziness rules!
