While you are driving.
In the theater.
In an elevator.
In the store. You really don't need to ask your boyfriend which can of peas he wants you to buy.
Anywhere where someone is having to listen to your conversation because they are stuck in the same space you are.

In schools because pupils are always texting at break times and it makes the teacher's job more difficult to control the pupils since with many children mobiles are an addiction. Teachers also have mobiles and they sometimes interrupt lessons in class. They are a distraction from work and occasionally they may take from 10 minutes to up to 30 minutes talking to someone.
Personally I think they should only be used for important things like in an emergency etc but not to tell someone your private life in public. There are too many people on mobiles talking about things others have the right not to know ! Teenagers
and students especially !!!!!!!!
Baning them is not the solution. There should be a building errected saying all mobile fans come here to chat and loiter about talking about silly nothings. Then they would have a place to go to instead of loitering around cafes, shops and other public places. In all workplaces they should be used sparingly because they really are a distraction and no one gets as much work done as they did when mobiles weren't around.

I think everyone will just about agree that they should be banned while driving, I also believe in theaters or concerts, anywhere where people are paying to see some kind of production, they are not paying to hear cell phones ring. I use mine in the store, sometimes to alleviate the boredom of grocery shopping, I talk to someone I know. If other shoppers don't like it, don't listen to what I am saying. They aren't in any danger by the use of my phone there, or paying for the privilege of shopping. I firmly believe that cell phones should be banned in any hospital or medical facility, please go out and use the phone some medical equipment is affected by cell phones.

Cell phones while very use full should not be used by people when they are driving (even the no touch ones) simply because there are enough distractions on the road without adding the phone to it.
Theaters
and as another answerer said anywhere people are in an in closed space and have to listen to your conversations

I think they should be banned in check-out lines, theaters, banks, churches, etc. If someone is trying to enjoy an evening out, or is standing in line to pay for their purchases, the rude ones that are chatting on their cell phones are stopping this from happening. If the phone call is soooooo important, please step out of line and let the next person proceed, or leave the building so others are able to enjoy their meal, movie, or whatever else they are trying to enjoy.
