My girlfriend is gonna be a junior this year. She goes to a different high school than I did when I was in high school.im now gonna be a college freshmen. I took her to my senior prom a few months ago when she was a sophomore. I was wondering if I should go to both her junior and senior proms, or should I let someone esle go with her.

I took a different girl to my senior prom because my girlfriend at the time was in the military.
Take her to her proms. I've been to two high school proms since I've graduated high school.

I would be hurt. Prom is one of the most memorable moments in a high schooler's life. Don't you want her to rememeber it with you? The pictures, the dance...etc. Sounds like you are embarassed because she is younger. If you have to ask this question maybe you should consider this one: Have I out grown her? If you don't go, it could be the beginning of the end.

While in the grand scheme of thing two year difference is nothing, right now it's the world so its gut check time are you going to stay with her or are you going to leave her that will decide who goes to the prom with her

I think that If the school will allow you to go you should definitely WAIT for her to invite you. Chances are she will if she can.
You don't want to appear to needy by begging her to let you go with her or telling her she can't go with anyone else. She might not even want to go with anyone else if she can't go with you. However don't discourage her from going. As she is still young she won't have alot of oppurtunities to go out and dance like at these school get togethers.
Let her have her fun. And when she older or in college you two will have alot more time to spend dancing together!

Is this seriously a question? Who the heck would want their girlfriend or boyfriend go to a prom with someone else? Now if she went stag with her friends, that'd be less of a weird situation.

No one else should go with her unless they have a closed prom (one where only people from that school can attend)
in that case, she should go with a guy friend of hers that you know and trust, or a group of girls

I let my girlfriend go with someone else.
I was in the Army at the time and couldn't get back for it. Not a big deal. I trusted her.

Um, no. She's your girlfriend... You go with her, to both [that is, if you two are together durring both] If not then obviously she would bring someone else, but as long as you 2 are together then you should be her date. Always.

Her date should be her boyfriend. To suggest that she go with someone else makes it look as though you aren't willing to make the effort to make it special for her like she did for you with your prom.
