Centuries from now, when the world *still* hasn't ended, will Xtians just start pretending it has?

I mean, all this "Behold, I come quickly" and now it's 2000 years later....I gotta say it's getting a little embarrassing.

I think they should all relinquish their worldly good, go to a mountaintop, and wait for jesus to take them to heaven.

They just make up a cover story like they always do. I've often wondered why they aren't terribly embarrassed about the 2000 years. 2000 years from now they will pretend the world really ended in 2012. I sometimes wonder how they can face the world.

Your "quickly" and God's are based on two different definitions.
Yours is obviously incorrect.
When the end of the world comes,
EVERYONE left alive will know it, without question.
You and your very words are prophesied about in the scriptures!
He delays His coming for YOUR sake !

The Night before the rapture, God always goes out to party and the next day when the rapture is supposed to take place he stays home and reschedules to sleep off his hangover.
