I am having trouble sleeping alone, after spending about 2-4 nights a week at my boyfriend's place. Nights where I am alone, I cannot fall asleep and usually only get a couple of hours when I do. I feel uncomfortable, I don't feel at home and I miss him terribly, even if I had just seen him this morning. The sound of him breathing next to me at night is comforting and soothing, and his arms make me feel protected, but is there anyway that I can get sleep on my own? Moving in with him is not an option at this point as we are both not ready for that. Does anyone have any other ideas??

Some people
- sleep on the couch, facing the stuffed back.
- sleep snuggled-up to a pillow or body pillow
- allow a cat or dog to sleep in their room
- sleep with music on
- run a fan in the room (it's called "white noise")
-or have a fish-tank for background noise

Moving in with BF is not wise. Glad to hear you're looking for other options.
