When you pour the rum, count to 3 or 4 (or 4 or 5), depending on how strong you like it. I prefer the Malibu rum with the coke. Very tasty. Experiment and see what tastes good to you. Have fun!!!

Depending on the glass, I mix two measures of rum and top up with coke. Then I'd add more rum or more coke to get the taste. No garnishing for me. Why spoil the taste?

Depends on how strong you want it?? You can do 3/4 coke to 1/4 rum. You can do 1/2 and 1/2. Trial and error until you like the taste of it. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.5 ounces of rum per 5 to 8 ounces of coke. In other words a tall rum and coke would be a shot and almost a whole can of coke.
In a bar you would likely be served 1.5 ounces to 6 ounces with alot of ice.
Add a lime and you would be drinking a Cuba Libre.

My hubby can have two drinks from one can of coke. The rum depends on your taste, I would imagine.

According to drinknation.com, they use 2 oz. of rum and fill with coke. That's using a highball glass.

try absolut vodka, peach flavored. I do 1/3 vodka, 2/3 diet pepsi. When I drink, I drink to DRINK so I might use a little more.
