its a simple question...
yes/no why and why not??

Personally I do depending on where I am in town, I live in a good suburb and as such I tend to stick to areas that I know well....
Perth residents you know what I'm talking about with MRS Foster in Gosnells and Dexter Williams in Mandurah, has this made you feel less safe in Perth??

and other aussie residents do you feel safe where you currently live or are there reasons for why you dont feel safe at the moment??

if people from the eastern states dont know what I'm talking about when menching MRS Foster please feel free to email me and I shall explain, other than that I look forward to reading everyones answers.

cheers
Mitch

I live in a a small Wa city well known for its anti-social behavior and I feel safe but what happened to to those two people could happen anywhere that's why they are called opportunistic crimes and the punishment should fit the crime which is the most annoying thing that it usually doesn't.
However when I do go to Perth and catch the train I don't feel safe and I couldn't believe the difference I felt travelling on Melbourne trains and walking around their streets.

Yes, I feel safe here in SA. There have been a couple of murders over the past few days in SA, but they have been over disputes between people who know each other. Despite that I don't really see any cause for fear.

I feel very safe in northern NSW but then I did in Sydney too. The crime rate is low and most people have no problems at all.

I feel very safe where I live (New South Wales). Low crime rate, good neighbours, excellent police force, no drug dealers that I know of - very safe.
